A Duffel Bag to Haul your Gear

We'd be lost without the duffel bag that we use when we're off for a weekend. Nothing complicated about it, just a handy way to carry our gear for the weekend or even up to a week in some cases. My old one bit the dust after almost 14 years of hard use. This is my replacement, and I like it even better. It's well made, using durable water resistant 1000D TPE fabric laminate, with end cap mesh storage and zippered storage. This duffel bag has ample room, zippered compartments and strong handles. The handles are padded and the removable shoulder straps adjust ergonomically to your preference. A durable bag that has room for what you need and more.

Important features like a separate zippered storage for damp or dirty items, a D-zip opening and a weather safe zipper cover flap. Strong and lightweight to haul your gear along reliably. We found many sizes in quality designs and colors at Sportricity Camping selections.

This may not be the bag of your dreams, we all have our own preferences. If you prefer to check out a few dozen - or a few hundred models to compare prices and features, we suggest the ample selection of duffel bags at Amazon.

What Features Matter for a Duffel Bag?

Compartments - the more the better. Stretch mesh compartments are great for odd sized items. Zippered pockets and compartments keep your things separated so you'll have an easier time finding things faster.

Adjustable straps so it does not need to be carried by the handle. Shoulder straps leave your hands fee and are better for heavier loads because they help distribute the overall weight better.

Secure closures: you want to be able to pack your gear, close it in and not wonder if anything slipped out. Zippers with covers last far longer than exposed zippers that can get dirt and grime crusted in them and corrode.

A defined base - a bottom that can hold it upright makes it easier to pack and to find things without needing two hands to hold it open. The base side should be supported and reinforced, that's the part that gets dragged across the dirt and gravel, you want that stronger than the rest of the bag.

Personal preference is the bright color that helps me spot it anywhere. I don't need to dig around under chairs and sleeping bags in the truck to find the duffelbag.
